Summary

Adhere to Department of Health and NMC guidelines for practice requirements and standards, for example, safe handling, administration, storage and custody of medicinal products. Adhere to Trust guidelines, policies and procedures. Manage and coordinate nurse-led dermatology clinics, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up appointments. Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Support the diagnosis and management of patients with complex dermatological conditions. Work closely with Consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care. Provide specialist wound management and post-operative follow-up. Support patients through skin cancer pathways, ensuring excellent communication and continuity of care. Deliver patient education and health promotion to improve outcomes and self-management
