The Best Connection are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Day Trunking Driver for our well-established client based in Swadlincote.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work, a consistent route and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
The Role
- Class 1 trunking work.
- Monday to Friday.
- 06:00 start time.
- Regular set route.
- Long-distance trunking.
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and professionally.
- Ongoing work with a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity.
Pay & Contract
- £17.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday.
- 06:00 start.
- 4-month initial temporary contract, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
- Immediate start available.
Driver Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 2 year's HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph card.
- A reliable and professional attitude.
- Good understanding of driver and vehicle safety requirements.
- Comfortable undertaking long-distance trunking work.
