Hours: Part Time – 30 hours per week, across 7 days, within the department opening hours of 9am – 6pm (8pm business dependant)

Christmas is one of our busiest and most exciting times of the year, and we’re looking for someone who loves helping people to join our Customer Sales Team on a temporary basis.

As a Customer Sales Assistant you’ll help us make sure our customers receive the fantastic service they expect from Beaverbrooks, whether they’re looking for advice, need a helping hand with an order or simply want to speak to someone.

You’ll spend most of your time supporting our Customers and Sales Team, with a particular focus on Webchat, Price Promise enquiries. You’ll also lend a hand with some of the wider team’s admin when needed, helping us keep things running smoothly during our busiest time of year.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting customers through live chat, providing friendly, helpful and accurate advice.

Handling Price Promise enquiries in line with our policies and processes.

Supporting the Sales Team with customer enquiries finding solutions wherever possible.

Working closely with our teams and stores to make sure customers receive a seamless experience.

Providing accurate information about our products, services and policies.

Knowing when to resolve an enquiry yourself and when to signpost or escalate it to the right team.

Helping with occasional team admin, such as post, returns and other tasks that help keep the team organised.

Keeping accurate records and making sure customer information is up to date.

Working positively and collaboratively as part of a busy team, particularly during the Christmas period.

Taking ownership of your work and helping us deliver a great experience for every customer, every time.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Skills

Passionate about delivering a great customer experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Confident communicating with customers through live chat and other channels.

Able to work at pace, manage competing priorities and stay organised.

A natural problem-solver who enjoys finding solutions for customers.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Confident knowing when to resolve an enquiry and when to signpost or escalate.

Positive, flexible and willing to support colleagues wherever needed.

Works well as part of a busy, collaborative team.

Demonstrates the values and behaviours of the Beaverbrooks Way.

Desirable Skills

Previous experience in customer service, sales or a similar customer-facing role.

Experience using live chat or CRM systems.

Previous experience handling Price Promise or similar pricing enquiries.

Experience working in a fast-paced retail or contact centre environment.
