Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Rate: £92.63-£123.83 per day
Contract: Long-term, with temp-to-perm opportunity

SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream school in Wigan, supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them access learning, build confidence and thrive in the classroom.
This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent, making it ideal for a Teaching Assistant who wants to find the right school and become a valued member of the team.
You'll work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to provide tailored support for pupils with SEND.
Depending on the needs of the pupils, this could include:

You may be supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, communication difficulties or other SEND.
We're looking for someone who:

A relevant TA qualification is desirable, but practical SEND experience and the right approach are equally important.
This isn't a short-term placement where you're moving from school to school.
We're looking for someone who wants to get to know the pupils, become part of the school community and build something long-term.
The role starts on a temporary basis through SEND Inclusion Support, with the opportunity for the right person to move into a permanent position with the school.
