Duties as Year 4 Teacher:

Teach a Year 4 class on:
- Wednesday afternoon
- Thursday
- Friday
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and track pupil progress
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Lead a curriculum subject area across the school
Utilise allocated release time to fulfil subject leadership responsibilities
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and pupil wellbeing

Ideal Year 4 Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
Interest in curriculum development and subject leadership
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
