Summary
External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale (i.e where the household pays council tax to Rochdale Borough Council).
Salary: £26,427 pro rata. £13.70 per hour.
This is a part time, term time only role working 17.5 hours a week.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Catering Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals for pupils and staff in a busy school kitchen.
As part of our team, you will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a passion for great foodwhile working closely with school leadership and stakeholders.

Strong culinary skills and a love for quality food
Creativity and an innovative approach
Commitment to promoting healthy eating among pupils
Excellent kitchen skills and strict adherence to Health & Safety
Knowledge of dietary needs and allergens (training provided)
Great communication skills and a flexible, “can-do” attitude
Residency in Rochdale or Oldham
