A well-established organisation within the logistics sector is looking to recruit an Operations Site Administrator to join their team. Your new role
You will be responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing vehicle transactions, ensuring all documentation and records are completed correctly and maintained in line with industry regulations and company procedures. You will monitor and operate the site's SCADA system, supporting the safe and efficient running of terminal plant and equipment.
Duties
- Operate the weighbridge safely and in line with compliance standards.
- Accurately process vehicle movements entering and leaving site.
- Complete and maintain all load documentation and records.
- Keep operational systems and stock records up to date.
- Verify load compliance with operational and industry standards.
- Process tickets and transactions in line with company procedures.
- Complete tonnage reconciliations and operational reporting.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and traceability documentation.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Monitor vehicle turnaround times and escalate delays when required.
- Work closely with operational teams across the terminal.
- Monitor and operate the SCADA system safely and efficiently.
- Compile operational data, customer reports and performance analysis.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within a weighbridge, logistics, transport, operations, manufacturing or industrial environment would be advantageous.
- Strong administration and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both face-to-face and via telephone, radio and email.
- A proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, weighbridge operations, waste regulations or bulk handling processes would be advantageous, but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
