Summary
Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join an established food manufacturing business based in Dunfermline.
This is a hands-on role keeping the production plant running: grinding and mixing machines, packing lines and conveyors. Monday to Friday, weekends off, no on-call. And our client will consider an experienced engineer or a junior engineer keen to develop.

40 hours per week
up to £38,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday, rotating day and back shift between
5am and 10pm
As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Delivering preventative and predictive maintenance plans
- Assisting with the installation of new machinery
- Maintaining accurate records and spare parts inventory
To be considered as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
- HNC or HND in mechanical or electrical engineering, or to be working towards one
- Experience in a processing or manufacturing environment
- A working understanding of PUWER and LOLER
- PLC experience and IOSH accreditation are advantageous
