Summary
Press Operator – 4-Day Week
Location: Alcester
Pay: £13.20 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:45pm
Hours per week: 39 hours
We are currently recruiting for a Press Operator to join an established business as part of the production team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with manufacturing or production experience who are seeking a four-day working week and the chance to develop their career within a well-established company.
The Role
• Prepare materials ready for production
• Operate press machinery safely and efficiently
• Unload finished products with care
• Carry out mould changes as required
• Finish products to the required standard
• Pack products ready for collection
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures
• Perform manual handling duties
• Ensure production and productivity targets are met
• Work to customer demand and production schedules
Person Specification
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience operating machinery or presses is advantageous
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and hardworking
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet production targets
What We Offer
• 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
• Working hours: 6:30am – 4:45pm
