We are seeking a highly organised, analytical and detail-focused Data Officer to join the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and effective management of academy data, supporting leaders, staff and students through the provision of high-quality information and reporting.

This is a cross-site role, and the successful candidate will work across both Harris Academy Clapham and Harris Clapham Sixth Form, supporting the data management and reporting functions of both sites. ​Main Areas of ResponsibilityYour responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing academy data systems, including Bromcom, Power BI, ParentPay and other MIS platforms

Providing strategic oversight of data to support operational performance and informed decision-making

Managing academy timetables, including schedule changes, issue resolution and set movements

Coordinating statutory census returns and ensuring the accurate submission of student and workforce data

Producing and overseeing behaviour, attendance and performance reporting for academy leaders

Managing parental reporting systems and ensuring information is accurate, secure and accessible

Acting as the academy’s data systems expert, providing training, guidance and support to staff

Maintaining and analysing student data, including attainment, targets and Pupil Premium information

Coordinating year-end processes, student transitions and statutory data validation exercises

Ensuring data accuracy, compliance and effective use across the academy

Qualifications & ExperienceWe would like to hear from you if you have:

Previous experience of working with a Management Information System (MIS)

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills

Excellent verbal communication and numeracy skills

Strong commitment to continuous professional development and learning new IT systems

Excellent attention to detail, report writing and documentation skills

Experience in a similar role
