This varied role would suit a skilled technician with experience in SMART repairs, vehicle paintwork and alloy wheel refurbishment who enjoys working independently and delivering high-quality results.

 

You'll be responsible for carrying out paint and alloy repairs at various locations, using your technical expertise to restore vehicles to an excellent standard. The Role

As a Mobile Paint / Alloy Technician, Mobile SMART Repair Technician or Mobile Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Technician, you'll carry out cosmetic paint and alloy repairs at various locations, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

·Carrying out mobile SMART repairs, paintwork and alloy wheel refurbishment.

·Repairing minor paint damage, scratches, scuffs, chips and cosmetic defects.

·Preparing vehicle panels and alloy wheels for refinishing, including sanding, filling and masking.

·Mixing and matching paint colours to achieve seamless repairs.

·Applying primers, basecoats and clearcoats to a professional standard.

·Repairing kerb damage and cosmetic defects to alloy wheels.

·Using appropriate tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently.

·Inspecting completed work to ensure a high-quality finish.

·Managing your daily workload and travelling between different locations.

·Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, safe working environment.

·Providing professional customer service and representing the business positively.

 

About You

To be considered for this Mobile Paint / Alloy Technician position, you'll ideally have:

·Previous experience as a Paint Technician, SMART Repair Technician or Alloy Wheel Technician.

·Experience in automotive paint repairs and/or alloy wheel refurbishment.

·Strong preparation, painting and finishing skills.

·Knowledge of colour matching and cosmetic repair techniques.

·Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.

·The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

·A reliable, organised and customer-focused approach.

·A full, valid UK driving licence.

 

Experience in both paint and alloy repairs would be advantageous, as the role covers both disciplines.
