£13.33 - £14.99 per hour
Hours: 08:00 - 16:00
We are currently recruiting for a
Warehouse Project Operative to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in
Barton-under-Needwood, Burton-on-Trent.
The role will involve working across day-to-day warehouse activities, inventory management, stock transfers and project-specific tasks. As a
Warehouse Project Operative, you will work across different areas of the operation and help ensure stock is moved, stored and processed accurately and safely.
Duties will include:
General warehouse duties
Moving and transferring stock around the warehouse
Inventory management and stock control
Picking, moving and preparing stock
Completing project-specific warehouse tasks
Assisting with warehouse layout and process changes
Ensuring stock movements are recorded accurately
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following Health & Safety procedures
Working to productivity and quality standards
Working across different areas of the warehouse when required
MHE Training
Training will be provided across a range of Material Handling Equipment, including:
HLOP
VNA
Counterbalance Forklift
Reach Truck
Previous forklift or MHE experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Requirements
The successful
Warehouse Project Operative will ideally have:
Previous warehouse or logistics experience
A reliable and flexible approach to work
Good attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Good awareness of Health & Safety
Willingness to undertake MHE training
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A practical and proactive approach to warehouse work
