We are looking for a caring and reliable Head Chef to join our team.
Hours:
4 shifts over 7 days 8am to 6pm (will include some weekend work)
Key Duties:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring a high-quality catering service.
Maintain excellent standards of food quality, hygiene, health and safety, and presentation.
Plan, develop and cost menus, ensuring meals are nutritious, balanced and meet residents’ needs.
Manage food ordering, stock levels and catering budgets, minimising waste and controlling costs.
Lead, supervise and support kitchen staff, including rotas, training, supervisions and staff development.
Ensure the kitchen, food storage areas and equipment are clean, safe and well maintained.
Work closely with residents and management, responding professionally to feedback, complaints and compliments.
