Summary
Personal Assistant / Companion
Location: Llandysul (Work to be undertaken at this location)
Hours of work : 6 hours per week
Rate of pay: £14.50 per hour
Role Purpose
To provide friendly, reliable companionship to a woman in her own home and local community. The focus of the role is spending meaningful time together, offering conversation and gently encouraging enjoyable activities.
Main Duties
• Provide warm, patient and dependable companionship.
• Spend time chatting and listening, particularly about dogs, gardening and flowers.
• I spent many years training, breeding and showing my Golden Retrievers and Clumber Spaniels.
• Encourage and join in with jigsaws, colouring and other quiet activities.
• Offer gentle encouragement to take part without creating pressure.
• If appropriate, bring a calm and friendly dog along for company.
• Respect her choices, routines, privacy and independence always.
