Summary

This post is for a 12-month Band 6 secondment into the role of Critical Care educator with a primary base at Peterborough City Hospital. The successful candidate will help to facilitate training, education and support the practice and development of all relevant clinical staff related to the care of Critically Ill patients. They will work in conjunction with the Band 7 Critical Care Educators at NWAFT. Main responsibilities will include: To ensure that staff are trained, educated, and developed to their potential, to meet the demands of the service in liaison with Band 7 Educators. To Identify and work with individuals who lack in competence / confidence to ensure that they are fit for practice and purpose. To monitor and help maintain compliance with mandatory and local Critical Care competencies for all members of staff. To deliver education and collaboratively enable compliance with national competency/education frameworks: ie theCritical Care National competency framework
