These are varied and rewarding administrative roles where no two days are the same.

You'll support the smooth running of tribunal proceedings by managing casework, coordinating hearings, responding to enquiries and maintaining accurate records.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll help deliver an accessible and efficient service working directly with tribunal members and service users across Scotland.

The Key Responsibilities Include:

Provide high-quality administrative support to the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland, ensuring the efficient operation of tribunal services.

Manage cases from initial application through to conclusion, including registering applications and progressing case management activities within agreed timescales.

Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries received by telephone, email and post, providing accurate information and guidance.

Coordinate tribunal hearings by arranging dates, venues and the availability of tribunal members.

Prepare, issue and manage case documentation, ensuring all papers are distributed accurately and within required timescales.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic case records, ensuring all correspondence and case information is recorded appropriately.

Support tribunal members by providing procedural guidance and administrative assistance relating to casework.

Assist with the preparation of management information, including monthly and quarterly statistical returns.

Provide general administrative support across the tribunal service, including supporting events, meetings and training activities.

Work collaboratively across a range of tribunal jurisdictions, contributing to a flexible and customer-focused service.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by working with colleagues to identify and implement more efficient ways of working.

Undertake clerking duties at hearings and property inspections where required, including supporting tribunal members, liaising with venues, assisting attendees and facilitating the smooth running of proceedings.

Travel throughout Scotland may be required to attend hearings, inspections and other tribunal-related activities.

Undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the grade and responsibilities of the post.
