TeacherActive is looking for a
passionate and caring KS2 Teacher to work on a supply basis at a lovely school in the NG12 area. The school promotes positive behaviour, strong teaching and a supportive environment for pupils and staff. Regular work is available, with the possibility of a long-term placement for the right teacher.
What the role involves
•
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum.
•
Creating a positive classroom where pupils feel confident to participate.
•
Setting clear expectations and encouraging good behaviour.
•
Adapting lessons to support pupils with SEN in a mainstream setting.
•
Working closely with colleagues and communicating effectively with parents and carers.
What we’re looking for
•
QTS and a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification.
•
Experience teaching in UK primary schools, ideally across KS2.
•
Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
•
Confidence supporting pupils with SEN in a mainstream classroom.
•
A passionate, caring and engaging approach.
•
Great communication and classroom management skills.
•
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
