Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy automotive service centre in Westbury. This is a fantastic Vehicle Technician opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a reputable company that values development and quality service. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in ensuring efficient vehicle maintenance and repair, adhering to the highest industry standards.

- Guaranteed 5-day, 42.5-hour working week, with shifts from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Carry out mechanical servicing, inspection, and repairs on a variety of cars and light vans

- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and accurately

- Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and health & safety standards

- Maintain high standards of workmanship to enhance the customer journey

- Liaise effectively with team members to ensure smooth workshop operations

- Keep accurate records of all work undertaken

- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- UK driving licence with minimal points

- Qualification to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Practical experience within an automotive workshop environment is highly desirable

- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

- Professional attitude with a focus on quality service delivery
