Role Details

Location: Birmingham - Calthorpe Road

Position: Inventory Clerk

Duration: 3 months

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Days, Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:00

Compensation: £13.53 per hour

Key Responsibilities This position is primarily warehouse and logistics based

. A typical assignment includes:

Completing daily cycle-count lists against assigned schedules

Physically locating and counting inventory

. Verifying part numbers and storage locations

Recording physical count quantities

. Performing second or recounts where differences are identified

Flagging discrepancies for investigation

. Timely escalation of discrepancies is a key measure of performance

Checking stock-location accuracy

. Identifying misplaced or incorrectly labelled inventory

Assisting with physical inventory and audit preparation

. Supporting the Inventory team with routine inventory-control tasks and location-control activities

The ideal candidate:

Inventory counting experience is required

The role may require standing and walking for extended periods

You will be working in cold rooms requiring +2 to +8 degrees

. Working in freezers at -20 degrees is also required
