Working hours: 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
Tru Talent is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing waste management company in Bournemouth, who are looking for an experienced
Customer Service Administrator to join their team.
This is a varied and important role, combining
customer service, administration and coordination to help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams. You'll be a strong team player who is also comfortable using your own initiative and taking ownership of tasks.
As a Customer Service Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
• Handling operational calls professionally and efficiently
• Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Managing customer accounts and dealing with queries
• Processing orders and liaising with suppliers
• Advising customers on commercial and domestic waste services
• Supporting customer accounts and processing payments
• Managing contractor pricing and purchase orders
• Assisting with new site set-ups
• Keeping internal systems and records accurate and up to date
• Communicating important information across different teams
• Resolving customer queries and issues promptly and effectively
• Providing general administrative support to the Customer Service team
• Supporting other departments when required
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
• Previous experience in a
customer service and administration role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• A confident and professional telephone manner
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft
Outlook, Excel and Word
• The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
• Previous experience within the
waste management or construction industry would be preferred.
