KPI Education are working with a high-performing school in
Putney to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic
Graduate Learning Mentor for an ASAP start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience supporting students academically, socially and personally, while developing valuable skills for a long-term career in education.
The Role
As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you will:
Provide 1-to-1 and small-group mentoring and learning support.
Support students with their academic progress, confidence and engagement.
Build positive relationships with students and act as a strong role model.
Help students develop effective study habits, organisation and independent learning skills.
Support students with additional academic, pastoral or behavioural needs.
Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and other education professionals.
Encourage students to develop confidence, communication skills and resilience.
Assist with classroom activities and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide appropriate feedback to staff.
About You
The successful Graduate Learning Mentor will have:
A
First Class or 2:1 degree.
A strong academic background and commitment to professional development.
A genuine interest in supporting young people and pursuing a career in education.
A positive, enthusiastic and approachable personality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence working with children and young people.
The ability to build positive relationships and act as a strong role model.
A patient, empathetic and supportive approach.
Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching or volunteering is advantageous but
not essential.
