South Staffordshire College is seeking committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our Student Support team at our Rodbaston campus.

We have a range of Learning Support Assistant vacancies available, with different working hours to suit both College needs and candidate availability. All roles are term time only and provide a great opportunity to make a real difference to the educational experience of young people and adults with additional learning needs.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), specific learning differences, disabilities, or other support needs. You will provide practical and personalised support that enables students to participate fully in their studies, develop confidence and independence, and achieve their individual goals.

Some roles may involve supporting students with personal care requirements. Full training and support will be provided where required.

We are looking for individuals who are patient, adaptable, and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning. Experience of supporting young people or adults with additional needs is desirable, although not essential. What matters most is a positive attitude, good communication skills, and a genuine desire to support others to succeed. Working as part of a dedicated and supportive team, you will play an important role in helping our students thrive both academically and personally.
