Summary

We are proud to be working with a long established, family run materials handling business who are looking for experienced Field Service Engineers to join their fast paced and growing equipment solutions business based in Grantham.

Equipped with modern, fully fitted service vehicles and equipment, as a field service engineer you will be responsible for the commissioning, maintenance and servicing of equipment and plant machinery in the field ensuring customers receive a professional, efficient and safe service at all times.

Job Role/Description

A typical day for a Field Service Engineer will consist of the following duties, however you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessary.

• Responsible for commissioning, maintenance and servicing of equipment and plant machinery.

• Repair, maintain, and service forklift trucks.

• Repair or replace faulty parts.

• Request parts via PDA.

• Report to Service Co-ordinator for scheduled work.

• Maintain and develop relationships with Customers.

• Follow Service Team procedures.

• Adhere to site Health & Safety requirements.
