Job Vacancy: Learning Disability Care Assistant - Days

Location: Charing House Care Home, Canterbury Street, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 5AY

Contracted hours: Full or Part Time. All contracts will include working alternative weekends. Shift times are 08.00am – 20.00pm.

Hourly rate of pay: £13.10 - £13.30 per hour

Requirements of the Learning Disability Care Assistant Role:

• A kind and caring person

• Previous experience in assisting residents who have Learning Disabilities is essential for this position.

Responsibilities of the Learning Disability Care Assistant Role:

• To provide support and guidance for our residents according to their care plans/support plans in enabling them to maintain as much independence as practicable.

• To promote Privacy and Dignity at all times whilst in the employment of CHC.

• To ensure that you contribute, to the best of your ability, to the efficient running of the home and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the residents.
