Summary

The School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law is seeking to appoint 3 full time (3FTE) Lecturers in Education (Early Years) (TSPP) to play a key role in the development and delivery of our expanding initial teacher training (ITT) portfolio. In this post, you will be contributing to the design, delivery, assessment and quality assurance of our portfolio of ITT provision, primarily in early years. The role is varied and interesting with a balance of teaching face to face and teaching online, and includes significant time spent in our partner schools observing trainee teachers, offering feedback and supporting them with their placement and practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years practitioner to contribute to a growing, innovative portfolio of initial teacher training courses. You will work closely with academic colleagues, early years providers, schools and other industry stakeholders to ensure that we provide up to date and relevant initial teacher education.
