Summary

We're looking for an Industrial Placement Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in the Cambridge region.

Location: CambridgeHours: 40 hours per weekSalary: £27,976 pro rataStart: September 2027

This is an exciting opportunity for a degree student seeking a placement year to gain valuable hands-on experience and begin building a successful career in Quantity Surveyoring.You will assist in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and develop a strong foundation in quantity surveying. You'll be working within a supportive team environment where collaboration and professional development are at the heart of everything we do.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Industrial Placement Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes.

Your day to day will include:

-Assisting in maximising gross profit for projects

-Managing commercial resources and assessing contractual risks

-Valuing work executed by sub-contractors

-Helping prepare and submit tenders and contract documents

-Collaborating with the project team to prepare progress reports and financial statements
