Summary

We're looking for a Graduate Quality Engineer to join our HS2 project team based in Aylesbury or Chipping Warden.

Location: Based on site at either Aylesbury or Chipping Warden

Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Starting Salary: £31,000 per annum

Pathway: Permanent, Full-time 2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k 

Starting date: September 2027

As a Graduate Quality Engineer, you'll be supporting Site Engineers to close out Inspection & Test Plans and their checklists, ensuring compliance throughout the construction phases as well as supporting with delivery of quality. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in civil engineering and the construction industry.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Graduate Quality Engineer, you'll be working within the Quality team, supporting them in ensuring compliance throughout construction phases. Your day to day will include:

-Supporting Site Engineers to close out Inspection & Test Plans and their checklists

-Ensuring compliance throughout the construction phases

-Supporting with delivery of quality across projects

-Demonstrating analytical and critical thinking to assess situations and problem solve

-Promoting wellbeing and an inclusive workplace where diversity is actively encouraged

What are we looking for?

We're looking for people due to graduate in 2027, or have recently graduated within the past three years, with a degree in Civil Engineering. This role of Graduate Quality Engineer is great for you if you:

-Have a degree (or are working towards a degree) which is ICE accredited in Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline

-Demonstrate a genuine interest in pursuing a career in civil engineering and the construction industry, with clear motivation to learn and develop professionally

-Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking to assess situations and problem solve with strong attention to detail

-Show enthusiasm for learning new skills and knowledge, and the ability to adapt in response to feedback

-You hold a Full driving licence
