About the Role
We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic
Nursery Practitioner with Paediatric First Aid to join a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Brixton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for young children.
Key Responsibilities
Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
Carry out observations and contribute to learning journals
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents
Maintain safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
Strong understanding of EYFS
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Warm, patient, and reliable approach
