Summary

Head of Service - Operations Manager - Public Health - Health & Wellbeing Services, Nottinghamshire

This is a new opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare business to join as Head of Service for their health and well-being services across Nottinghamshire.

You will be a passionate, driven and knowledgeable community health/public health leader with solid management experience and the ability to think both strategically and commercially. This is a fast-paced, varied role with a range of successful health improvement services, including weight management & physical activity, falls prevention, smoking cessation, and more.

You will be leading the development and performance management of the service, building and developing the teams, and establishing relationships and partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

As well as managing the service operations, you will manage quality & compliance, monitor and manage performance against KPIs and contractual arrangements, act as a key representative and spokesperson outside of the organisation, and act as a role model and inspiration to the teams.

This is an entrepreneurial environment, and the organisation is enjoying a sustained period of growth. There is further expansion (services and geographical) planned, so this is an ideal time for an ambitious, career-minded individual to join them.

This will be challenging and fast-paced, coupled with a company-wide ethos based on support and collaboration. As such, whilst you will be allowed to be autonomous and self-starting, you will also be supported by a talented senior management team and given all the resources you require to excel.
