Commis Chef / Apprentice Chef

Are you a passionate Commis Chef looking for the perfect start to your culinary career? This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Commis Chef to work directly alongside a talented, award-winning Chef Owner in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire — a genuinely special chance to learn your craft from someone at the very top of their game.

As Commis Chef, you’ll be trained personally by the Chef Owner, starting with starters and desserts before progressing to main courses and beyond. You’ll develop real, hands-on cooking skills every single day — building a strong foundation that will serve your career for years to come. The previous Commis Chef thrived in this role for over two years, which tells you everything about the quality of the environment.

We’re looking for a Commis Chef who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and based in or around Peterborough with their own transport. You don’t need lots of experience — what matters is your passion for food and your commitment to growing as a chef. A normal working week is 40 hours, with two set days off plus Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings free.
