Summary
Class 1 trunking drivers required – no handball involved! We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing trunking work, covering both regional and nationwide routes.
This is a straightforward depot-to-depot driving role, with all trailers loaded and unloaded using forklifts.
The Role
You’ll be completing trunking runs between depots, covering regional and nationwide routes as required.
The trailers are curtain-sided, with loading and unloading carried out by forklift, meaning there is no manual handballing involved.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you’ll need:
Current HGV Class 1 (C+E) entitlement
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Valid Driver CPC
Licence held for a minimum of 12 months
No more than 6 penalty points for insurance purposes
Minor offences only
No DR, DD, IN, CU or MS convictions
This is an ongoing temporary position offering regular work for suitable drivers.
Monday-to-Friday working
Early starts and regular daytime finishes
No weekend work
Pay and Benefits
£18.50 per hour

Up to 28 days’ holiday accrued
