Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Our fantastic Music teacher, who has worked at Telferscot for over a decade, will sadly be leaving us at the end of this term. We are looking for someone who can ensure that Telferscot children will continue to receive an outstanding Music education, that is bold, relevant, and reflects our school community. In addition, we are keen to find someone who has their own vision, new ideas and innovation to develop our offer even further.

The right candidate will need to have a solid understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies, capable of planning and developing an engaging, challenging, and creative curriculum. They should have high expectations for all children and embrace the importance of the extra opportunities Telferscot provides. We are particularly interested in candidates that have individual interests and skills who could further enhance our offer.

We are an oversubscribed, two-form entry school with a nursery, recently rated Outstanding in all areas in our February 2025 inspection.
