The business supports the movement and handling of goods and requires dependable drivers to help deliver an efficient service to customers and local destinations.The roleWe are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to undertake home deliveries, local drops and longer-distance work. This is a temporary daytime position, with the potential for permanent employment for the right person.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing home deliveries and local drops• Carrying out longer-distance journeys when required• Loading, securing and checking goods before departure• Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks• Providing a professional and helpful service at delivery locations• Following road safety, site and company proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement• Current Driver CPC and digital tachograph card• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience• Experience in home delivery, local drops or long-distance driving• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers’ hours requirements• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused approach• Physically able to assist with delivery work where requiredBenefits• £15.50 per hour• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to become visible to local employers• Potential permanent employment opportunityApply today.
