Summary

Teaching Assistant – SEND Support | Cricklewood | ASAP Start

A welcoming primary school in Cricklewood is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide classroom and SEND support, starting ASAP.

This is a varied role where you will work alongside the class teacher to support pupils with their learning while also providing additional support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You will work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups, adapt activities where needed and help children access the curriculum. You’ll also support pupils with their communication, confidence, engagement and independence within the classroom.

The school is looking for a patient and proactive Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with children and work effectively as part of the wider school team. Previous experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs within a primary school or similar setting would be highly beneficial.
