Summary

Primary Teaching Assistant – Kensington | ASAP Start

A welcoming primary school in Kensington is looking for a full-time Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to support pupils throughout the school day. You’ll provide classroom support, work with children 1:1 and in small groups, reinforce learning in English and Maths and help pupils who need additional support to access the curriculum.

The role may also involve supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting activities where needed and helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and engagement with learning.

The school is looking for a caring and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with children and work effectively as part of the classroom team. Previous experience within a primary school, nursery or another child-focused setting would be beneficial.
