Summary

Year 1 SEND Teaching Assistant – Southall, Ealing | ASAP Start

A primary school in Southall, Ealing is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with high levels of additional need within Year 1.

This is a full-time role starting ASAP, working closely with the class teacher and SEND team to provide additional support within the classroom.

As a Year 1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work with children individually and in small groups, adapting activities to help them access learning and supporting their communication, engagement, confidence and independence throughout the school day.

The school is looking for a patient, caring and consistent Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting children with more significant Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Previous experience supporting pupils with high needs within a primary school, SEN school or specialist provision would be highly beneficial.
