The Best Connection Group are currently recruiting for
Class 1 Drivers to join our busy
DHL site based in Stoke. This is a
long-term, ongoing opportunity with
immediate starts available.
We offer flexible working patterns to suit your availability - whether you're looking for
part time or full time work, different start times,
store deliveries, trunking or a combination of different duties, we want to hear from you!
Newly passed Class 1 drivers will also be considered.
Flexible Working Opportunities
- 1 to 5 days per week based on your availability
- Monday to Friday work
- Part time and full time drivers required

- Drivers looking for a combination of duties are welcome to apply
About the role:
- Completing store deliveries with occasional collections. (2 - 4 drops per shift)
- Deliveries involve unloading palletised stock using an electric pump truck via a tail lift.
- Store colleagues will take deliveries from the tail lift into the store.
- Straightforward Trunking work available
- Some vehicles are double-deck trailers, although previous experience operating these is not essential.
- Trunking and other driving duties are also available
Pay Rates:
- Hours worked between 22:00-06:00 -
- Hours worked between 06:00-16:00 -
- Hours worked between 16:00-22:00 -
- Bank Holiday -
£21.24 per hour
£17.70 per hour
£19.47 per hour
£26.55 per hour
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph card
- Newly passed drivers welcome to apply
- Experience with double-deck trailers preferred but not essential
- Confident using pallet trucks
- Good level of physical fitness
