We are currently recruiting experienced
Class 1 HGV Drivers operating through their own Limited Company for a client based in
Tamworth (B78).
This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for
regular general haulage and trunking work, with excellent rates of pay and consistent work available.
The Role
The position involves
general haulage and trunking, with drivers operating Class 1 vehicles on regular work from the Tamworth area.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods while ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed professionally and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Driving a Class 1 HGV safely and professionally.
Completing general haulage and trunking work.
Carrying out deliveries and collections as required.
Ensuring loads are secured correctly.
Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
Working safely and in accordance with customer requirements.
Providing a professional service to customers and site teams.
Pay Rates
Days: £20.00 per hour
Nights: £22.00 per hour
What We're Looking For
Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.
Must operate through your own Limited Company.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous general haulage or trunking experience preferred.
Good understanding of load security.
Reliable, professional and punctual.
Good knowledge of UK roads.
Strong commitment to safe driving practices.
