Summary

Your responsibilities will include: Servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) and carrying out temperature monitoring. Undertaking plumbing tasks, including sink and tap installations. Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory planned maintenance (SPM). Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a range of engineering plant and equipment. Supporting the operation and maintenance of critical hospital systems, including water treatment and steam systems. Troubleshooting and resolving faults on Building Management Systems (BMS). Calibrating and maintaining mechanical and electrical installations. Liaising with departments across the Trust to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise disruption. Producing technical reports and condition assessments. Assisting with engineering improvement projects and lifecycle planning. Maintaining accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation. Participating in the on-call rota and providing out-of-hours support when required. Supporting the development of apprentices and colleagues through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
