Our aim is to deliver a professional, consistent, accurate, and timely payroll service throughout the organisation, while also providing an effective and efficient pension administration service across SRUC's seven pension schemes.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Post Holder will provide support in the achievement of a professional, consistent, accurate and timely Payroll service across SRUC. This includes processing payroll documentation for starters, leavers, contractual changes, overtime, and other payroll-related claims.
This role would suit a highly numerate candidate with a natural flair for accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrable experience of working in a payroll or HR professional environment is essential, with a proven understanding of payroll legislation and documentation including PAYE, SSP, SMP, treatment and calculation of benefits.
An understanding of pension schemes, salary sacrifice arrangements, and other payroll-related matters would be highly advantageous, as would experience in administering pay and grading outcomes and implementing employee benefits packages.
This is a fixed term contract for up to 24 months.
