Summary

We are looking for a Assistant Communications Officer to join the National Theatre's Communications team.

The Assistant Communications Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting the Communications team to execute creative media campaigns, as well as administrative and operational activities, that help deliver the National Theatre’s communications strategy. This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive, can-do approach. Working closely with the Communications Manager, Corporate and Campaigns, you will support integrated press and communications campaigns across key priorities, especially around our Learning programmes, while also underpinning the administrative needs of the wider Communications team. This role will also work closely with the Show Publicity team to support campaigns across our three stages and on tour. This will include the preparation and distribution of press and internal materials, facilitating interview logistics, handling incoming enquiries and requests, maintaining records and documents, processing and archive management of production and publicity images, delivering business processes, monitoring media coverage, supporting events, and undertaking research.
