TeacherActive is proud to be working with a GOOD secondary school based in Manchester, who are looking to appoint an English Teacher. The school provides a positive learning environment and is committed to supporting students throughout their secondary education.

The school is looking to take on an English Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful English Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively and support students in making strong progress.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum

• Excellent classroom management

• Strong communication skills

• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
