Desian Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Formby for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher. This is a full-time, long-term position offering the opportunity to become an integral part of the school community and make a lasting impact on pupils' learning and development.
The successful candidate will join a committed team of staff and will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning within Key Stage 1. This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a supportive school environment.
📘 The Role
• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS1
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Monitor pupil progress and provide appropriate support and challenge
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community
• Take full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment
✅ The Ideal Candidate
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has a Full Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)
• Experience teaching within KS1
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Passionate about raising attainment and supporting children's development
• Reliable, professional, and able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
💷 Pay Rates
• M1-M6: £120 - £232 per day, depending on experience and pay scale
