Summary

Chef at Rotherlea

Location: Rotherlea, Dawtrey Rd, Petworth GU28 0EA

Contract: Full time or part time available - 37.5hrs or 22hrs per week

Salary: £17.44 per hour

Working Hours: Between 7am - 5pm on a 4-week rolling Rota (shift times can be flexible) - requirement to work alternative weekends

Rotherlea, a superb, modern 70 bed care home located in Petworth. The facility specialises in dementia, residential, and respite care, providing a safe and supportive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing, cooking and serving fresh, high-quality meals for residents.

Planning varied, nutritious menus that cater for dietary, cultural and individual preferences.

Supporting celebrations, themed events and special occasions with delicious catering.

Ordering stock within budget and company guidelines using approved suppliers.

Maintaining accurate food safety records in line with HACCP requirements.

Ensuring the kitchen consistently meets high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, following all procedures.

Leading, motivating and supporting members of the catering team.
