We're looking for a dynamic, ambitious Senior Finance Manager to join a fast-paced, high-energy team, gaining hands-on experience across the full spectrum of transactional finance while leading and developing others. What You'll Do:

Delegate and oversee staff responsibilities across the finance team, ensuring workloads are distributed effectively

Manage task allocation and prioritisation, coaching junior team members to deliver against deadlines

Oversee purchase/sales ledgers, cash books, loan schedules and ensure accurate reconciliations

Maintain accruals, prepayments & amortisation schedules

Prepare management accounts, including budget variance analysis

Lead VAT & CIS return submissions

Supervise invoice processing & cash book maintenance

Manage statutory accounts, audits & financial reporting

Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors & key stakeholders

Present finance reports to shareholders & board members

Act as a point of escalation for the team, delegating tasks and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met

What We're Looking For:

✔ ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (essential)

✔ At least one year post-qualified experience (essential)

✔ Proven experience delegating tasks and managing staff workloads

✔ Experience working in a professional finance environment

✔ Confidence in board-level interactions (experience desirable, but not essential)

✔ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

✔ Proactive mindset with a drive for process improvement
