Summary
Support Coordinator
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an organised, compassionate and proactive Support Coordinators to coordinate support for learners with additional needs and ensure they receive the right support to achieve their potential.
Working closely with curriculum and support teams, you will manage the allocation of 1:1 and small group support,
oversee support colleagues, contribute to assessment and planning processes, and help ensure resources are used effectively to meet student needs.
What you'll do
Coordinate and timetable support across the college.
Work with students to identify support needs and develop support plans.
Support and develop a team of support colleagues.
Monitor quality, compliance and effective use of resources.
Work collaboratively with curriculum and support teams to deliver positive outcomes for learners.
Contribute to service improvement, staff training and inclusive practice.
What we're looking for
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Experience of coordinating support, resources or staff teams.
A commitment to inclusion and student success.
Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.
The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
