Summary
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Caerphilly, supporting with their recruitment for a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor. The school provides an inclusive learning environment focused on keeping pupils engaged, supported and progressing throughout their secondary education.
The school is looking for a confident Cover Supervisor to join on a short-term basis, working with students aged 11 - 16+ across a range of subjects and departments. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour and ensure pupils remain engaged with their learning throughout each lesson.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• CACHE Level 2/3 or a minimum of 6 months' relevant experience
• Experience working with secondary school pupils aged 11 - 16+
• The ability to speak Welsh fluently or as a second language
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confidence supervising classes across different subjects and departments
• A flexible, proactive and engaging approach
