Summary

On-Site Electrician

Location: NRS Harwell, Didcot, Oxfordshire

Contract: Permanent | Full Time

Hours: 37 hours per week – 9‑day fortnight (early finish every other Friday)

Amey is recruiting an Approved Electrician to join Amey’s Electrical Team at our NRS Harwell Branch in Oxfordshire. This is a long‑term, secure role offering consistent hours, a 9‑day fortnight and the opportunity to work on a team in a high‑security, safety‑critical environment.

About the role

Working at NRS Harwell, you’ll play an important part in maintaining safe and compliant nuclear facilities. The environment is controlled, professional and highly regulated, making attention to detail, safety and standards essential.

Key responsibilities

Duties would be planned and reactive maintenance of various buildings in our client’s portfolio. ie; Inspection and testing, emergency light testing, PAT Testing, RCD testing, installation of new equipment or replacement/repair of Lamps, Sockets etc

To carry out duties in line with current Health and Safety legislation.

Assist with Minor building fabric repairs

Carry out ad hoc general minor repairs as required
