Summary

Operations & Service Delivery Lead the day-to-day operational delivery of PCN/CIC services. Ensure services have appropriate systems, processes and management arrangements. Support the implementation of governance, assurance and compliance requirements across PCN services. Identify and resolve operational barriers to effective service delivery. Coordinate activity across teams and services where required. Ensure operational issues are resolved at the appropriate level and escalated where necessary. Workforce Management Maintain oversight of workforce capacity, deployment and operational requirements. Support appropriate workforce planning. Provide line management, leadership and support to Team Leads and other designated staff. Ensure employees have clear roles, responsibilities, objectives and reporting arrangements. Maintain effective management structures across PCN teams. Identify workforce risks and recommend appropriate action. HR & Recruitment Lead operational recruitment and onboarding activity within the agreed workforce plan. Oversee the consistent application of HR policies and procedures across teams. Coordinate probation, performance, attendance and employee relations processes, seeking specialist HR advice where appropriate. Maintain oversight of mandatory training and workforce compliance. Service Performance Develop and maintain appropriate operational measures for services. Monitor service performance, capacity and delivery. Work with service and clinical leads to address underperformance or operational concerns. Provide appropriate performance information to the PCN Manager and Board. Support continuous service improvement. Shared Responsibilities Working jointly with the PCN Manager and senior leadership team: Support governance, organisational assurance and compliance activities across the organisation. Practice engagement and relationships. Neighbourhood working and development. Implementation of Board priorities. Organisational change and improvement. Identification and escalation of significant organisational risks.
