The Role
We are a well-established venue in Stamford, seeking an experienced Tandoori Chef to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic tandoori dishes, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
-Preparing and cooking a variety of tandoori dishes
-Marinating and seasoning meats, fish, and vegetables using traditional methods
-Operate and maintain tandoor ovens safely and efficiently
-Develop and evolve the menu, keeping authenticity and quality at the centre
-Maintain full HACCP compliance and food hygiene standards
-Manage inventory and kitchen supplies
-Communicate directly with front-of-house
-Ensure food is prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards
-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
-Complying with all food safety and health regulations
